I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2020…that was a bad year. Since then I’ve been trying my hardest to limit carbs as much as I can. I have to admit, there are very few low carb/keto bread options that are good… they may be edible, but not that enjoyable…I’ve been pretty miserable.
Things seem to be looking up,I had my first piece of Dohjoy Sourdough bread. I put a little butter on a slice right out of the bag, and I am almost in tears…it tastes like bread, and more importantly it has a normal bread texture and chew. So really, what’s even more important, today this was my breakfast meal and my blood sugar started at 111. After eating my toast and 3 strawberries, my number only rose by 12 to 123, and was back to that baseline in a little under 2 hours.
I dont know how to thank you, but when this loaf is running low, I’m setting up a subscription!!

It’s been a few days of buttered toast and WOW my taste buds are overjoyed!
